1. Who we are
This website is operated by ADGSTUDIOS (PTY) LTD (registration number 2023/904544/07), registered office at 13 Rand Rd, Blackheath, Stellenbosch, Somerset West, Cape Town, South Africa. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect information when you use this website, in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
2. What we collect
We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it, specifically:
- Contact form submissions — name, email address, company (optional), project type, budget (optional), timeline (optional) and your project description, submitted via the contact form.
We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics scripts on this website. Your browser may store per-device preferences locally (for example, in localStorage), which stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.
3. How we use it
Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your enquiry and, where a project proceeds, to communicate about that project. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
4. Legal basis for processing
We process contact form information on the basis of your consent, given by submitting the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.
5. Third parties
The Open Source page loads public repository data directly from the GitHub API in your browser. This request is made by your browser to GitHub, not by our servers, and is subject to GitHub's own privacy policy. Contact form submissions may be relayed through a transactional email provider solely to deliver your message to us.
6. Data retention
We retain contact form submissions only for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, to administer a resulting project or contractual relationship.
7. Your rights
Under POPIA, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal requirements
- Object to the processing of your personal information
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact page.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal information we hold from loss, misuse or unauthorised access.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
