Shipwreck Rally — Event Registration & Booking Platform
An event registration and hotel booking platform built for the Harley Owners Group's annual Shipwreck Rally motorsport event, live at shipwreckrally.co.za.

Handle event registration and hotel bookings for a large annual motorsport rally, with real payment processing and room inventory that can't be double-booked.
APPROACH
A Next.js application with a Prisma/PostgreSQL data layer, Yoco payment integration and real-time room inventory checks, backed by self-hosted email infrastructure for confirmations and admin communication.
ENGINEERING
- Secure payment integration with the Yoco payment gateway
- Real-time room inventory management to prevent overbooking
- Self-hosted email infrastructure (Mailcow) with automated booking-confirmation notifications
- Role-based access control with an admin dashboard
- Full deployment pipeline: hosting, DNS and SSL
